Position: Accounting Writer
Location: Virtual. You can work from home, Starbucks, or anywhere there is an internet connection!
Description: We are looking for accounting students and accounting professionals who have a good, working understanding of accounting concepts, corporate finance, and business to write educational materials about these topics. Some pieces may require accounting and financial research while others may be written from current knowledge.
Requirements:
- Must have in-depth understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping concepts
- Must have a BS in Accounting, Business, or Finance (or working towards one)
- Must be an excellent creative writer
- Must be fluent with MS-Word and Excel, GoogleDocs are a plus
- Must be able to work remotely
Optional Experience ( A Plus ):
- Can use Adobe Photoshop
- Has video editing experience
- Has a professional certification or is currently pursuing one
- Has experience in public accounting
- Has written published accounting educational material
Compensation: $20 per hour
Availability: This position is flexible from part-time to full-time work. Ideal candidates would be available at least 15-20 hours per week.
